How true? How true?

How lucky naman this girl could get.

Our ever-reliable source revealed that they were seen sa Macau last week.

Teka!

Kalungkot, no?

will_01 The Head of Household game was held last Sunday night where they have to hold on to their individual punching bags and the last to lose his grip would win. After more than fifteen minutes, Will was finally hailed as the HOH for the week and it was Riza Santos whom he chose as his partner for the special privileges that he would get.

As soon as she heard about it, Ethel immediately showed her hilarious dismay for not being picked by Will. The latter tried to console her but the she merely threatened to pack her things again and leave the house. Of course she was just kidding but jokes are half-meant.

Beauty queen turned actress Riza Santos reportedly earned the ire of Ruffa Gutierrez after she kept the entire cast and crew of ABS-CBN's new series I Love Betty La Fea waiting for hours on one of its recent tapings.

Aside from turning up way beyond her set call time, the Filipino-Canadian stunner did not even bother to offer an explanation for her tardiness or at least greet the people present at the set, Ruffa recalled.

"Ayoko na sanang palakihin ‘to pero ang sa ‘kin lang naman, you know, sana just say 'hi' naman to your co-stars, say 'hi' to your director, mga kasamahan mo. The Buzz during a sit-down interview.

RUNNING IN LATE. Based on what she heard and knew at the time, Ruffa said that Riza's call time was seven o' clock in the evening but she showed up at around 11 p.m.

"Last eksena ko na ‘yon. So, gusto ko na talagang umuwi kasi I wasn't feeling that well, at saka siyempre gusto ko naman makasama si Lorin at saka si Venice kaya parang excited din ako umuwi kasi kokonti lang ‘yong mga eksena ko for that day," explained Ruffa.

For a supposed quick take, Riza's absence consequently forced Ruffa and the staff to stay and linger around the set until near midnight.

Encountering a late co-star is not a rarity in the world of show business and Ruffa stressed that she was initially willing to put Riza's blunder behind to avoid stalling the shoot further. What irked the actress-TV host, however, was her co-star's apparent lack of courtesy the moment she arrived.

A source from Viva—the firm managing Riza's career—defended the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate by saying that their talent was not aware of her taping schedule that day, thus making the entire incident a case of miscommunication between the production team and Riza's group.

Ruffa argued that Riza could have at least issued an apology, particularly to the director, for all the hassle she had caused.

"At that point lang, Tito Boy, whether she was stuck in traffic or whether she had a big problem, you know, ang sa amin lang sana she could have said sorry man lang to the director because all of us were just waiting for her."

The daughter of former matinee idol Eddie Gutierrez and feisty manager Annabelle Rama still managed to keep her composure and was able to complete all the required takes in the span of an hour. After the shoot and before leaving the set, Ruffa—who by then was just waiting for Riza to give her side—finally decided to lecture the newbie on the ethics of professionalism.

"So parang one hour nang natapos ‘yong scene or 30 minutes, wala pa din po siyang sinasabi. Kumbaga parang, wala lang. So, when I stood up, I said, ‘Okay, bye everyone, bye!'"

Turning her attention to Riza, Ruffa said, "'You know, Riza, next time don't make anyone wait,' sabi kong ganun. ‘If you wanna make it in this business, be professional,' and I just left but still she didn't say anything after that."

Ex-Pinoy Big Brother housemate Riza Santos is currently busy with a lot of projects and commitments in show biz, but she admits that she largely misses her schooling.

The former beauty queen emphasizes that she values her education and plans to continue her studies. A Biology major, Riza shares that before she went to the Philippines to try showbiz, she was actually preparing to enter medical school.

"For now I'm setting aside school, but I definitely wanna go back because it is very important to me," says Riza. "I'm almost finished (with my major) over there (in Canada), so I would rather finish what I started," she shares.

The sexy new comer currently has a TV show, a movie and an album recording lined up so she knows that she has to set aside her education. But Riza says she will know when the time is right to go back and finish her studies.

In the meantime, she keeps on reading her school books whenever she can in order to stay sharp. "Science books, math books, I try to read to keep my mind active," Riza confesses.

With an expected successful run of the Dolphy-Vic Sotto comedy Dobol Trobol, Riza Santos admits acting opposite the two legends was a daunting experience, especially when it came to doing scenes with her on-screen father, Dolphy.

“Before coming to the set, it was a little bit nerve wracking because I knew I was working with a legend and I didn’t know what the expectations were of me. But with Dolphy, he was very down-to-earth. He can talk to anyone and he actually really helped me how to internalize.

"He helped me see what it would be really like to be his daughter. He really took the time to tell me to imagine and be the role. He really helped me a lot. And he made me feel really comfortable on the set. Because I was really scared at first,” she admits.

This is the 21-year-old Fil-Canadian beauty queen’s third movie project to date (her first was a cameo role in When Love Begins and she was also part of the cast of Torotot).

Kahit laking Canada siya, she really made it a point na panatilihin ang kanyang virginity, for many reasons.

“I haven’t experienced having a boyfriend yet,” katwiran niya.

In so many instances, napapalunok na lang ng laway ang puwedeng taguriang “The Other Comedy King.” Come to think of it, mas bagay na maging “The Other Comedy King” na lang si Bossing Vic, di ba?
