Fresh from Ruben’s wedding this afternoon, the five remaining official celebrity housemates must take on Kuya’s new and difficult challenges, without the ‘help’ of Ethel and Mariel. Yes, Gaby, Ruben, Will, Riza and Jon will be celebrating New Year’s Day without the celebrity house guests. The two ladies thanked everyone for being such good people and wished them all the best of luck. Once on stage with Toni and Bianca, the three kids from Payatas Ethel and Mariel sponsored were awarded food carts which their families can use to earn a living. The two were also surprised when they themselves received food carts. But Ethel received a bigger surprise when her ex-boyfriend Alex Crisano appeared on stage to welcome her back to the outside world.
While Ethel was basking over Alex’s attention, Big Brother was getting down to business with the housemates and told them his first challenge. The housemate were instructed to give an X medallion to the person who doesn’t deserve to belong to the Big Four. Everyone was horrified and Riza, who was first called to do the deed, did not budge from the sofa.
” I think we are all deserving … we should be the Big Five,” Riza explained tearfully to Big Brother. Kuya then called on the others but like Riza, they all declined to name someone ‘undeserving.’ Ruben even mentioned that all of them even talked abou sharing their prizes to the 5th placer just like what they did with Yayo.
Big Brother then proceeded to the second task which was naming the Big Winner. Every one placed their star medallions on Ruben’s neck for they all felt he’s this edition’s Big Winner. For Gaby, Will, Riza and Jon, Ruben embodies what the first placer should be — he was dilligent with all of the tasks, he was a humble guy and most of all he was such a loving person, who cared not only for his family but also his friends. Ruben got teary eyed with all his fellow housemates’s testimonies. The funny man from Davao chose Gaby though as his Big Winner for he felt that the racer proved she can do anything, even tough jobs that are considered for men only.He also stated that he liked Gaby’s firm conviction on her beliefs, giving her move to save the pigs as an example.
Last night the Ultimate Pasaway ( Ethel Booba) took her task to discover the true Riza up another notch when she started courting Will openly in front of the Desirable Diva ( Riza). During a midnight snack last night, Kuya suddenly played the song “I Finally Found Someone” and the words ‘This is it!’ pushed Ethel to bring out her Christmas present for Will. She gave him a dog tag necklace similar to the one she is wearing. “This is Janvier’s before!” Will joked. Ethel tried to kiss Will but the True Lover emphasized that ‘This is not it!’Ethel felt Will’s hesitation to “make patol” was due to the fact that Riza was standing in the corner quietly drinking her coffee. She told Riza to go to sleep and everyone laughed at Ethel’s crazy antics.
However, this was not the end of Ethel’s “pangungulit” when Will suddenly found her lying on his bed. Will felt very helpless and he stomped over to the girls’s bedroom to ask Mariel to ‘get her friend.’ Mariel though placed the bunch of roses from the Oblation Run in Ethel’s hands to make the atmosphere more romantic. The other housemates were laughing so hard, there were tears in their eyes. Riza, then made an appearance in the boys’s bedroom, pretending to carry Ethel off as a drastic measure.
With Ethel’s provoking, will Riza really come out of her shell this time? Also where will Ethel’s courting of the True Lover lead to? This triangle is yet to be solved, so stick around for you surely don’t want to miss the answer to this equation!

He let Yayo, Gaby, Mariel, Ethel and Riza witness this year's Oblation run, an event done annually by the Alpha Phi Omega fraternity for almost a hundred years as an act to express freedom. The excited buzz of the students gave away their location to the Racing Goddess and once the blindfolds were taken away the women could only scream 'Oh my God! Oh my God!'when naked guys started running in front of them. The students gave them roses, a tradition that is part of the run. Riza, the admitted virgin, was speechless while receiving the flowers. Ethel, who was taken aback by the first pass got ready on the guy's second lap. "Oy, ang liit naman niyan!" Ethel jeered and got a lot of laughs not only from the HMs but from the Oblation Run participants as well. "Tingin ba nila nanay nila ako?" was Yayo's incredolous reaction after receiving the least flowers. Riza was actually still a bit shocked when they all got back to the house. "First sa akin na makita na putoytoy ng lalaki." she told Kuya and the girls, who found her statement hilarious.

On a slow and quite morning inside the famous yellow house, Riza proved that she can rock the house down with her singing and dancing. While the guys were sleeping in the living room, the Desirable Diva gave the cue "Ready na 'ko" to Big Brother, and the song "Buttons" by Pussy Cat Dolls instantly played. With a wireless microphone, Riza sang solo and danced across the living room to the guys' amusement.
In the past days, it had been Kuya's habit to reprimand the housemates caught sleeping in the living room by instructing them to do a song and dance number. For this morning, unfortunately, Riza shouldered the job in waking up the other housemates. Will, Victor, Baron, and the rest of the guys were instantly up, as if an angel from heaven came down to visit them. The all watched amazingly as Riza performed in front of them. Good thing she was still able to remember all the steps she did with the other girls during their Concert for a Cause. Riza used the chairs to level up her performance.
But it was also surprising to see that in the middle of the song, all the boys lined up across the chairs and started dancing to the song. The boys already knew that they had to do so because yet again, Big Brother caught them sleeping.
Later this afternoon, however, all the housemates were once again tempted to take a nap. But thanks to the giant playing cards, they were able to kill some time without having to fly off to dreamland. Apparently, it wasn't easy for the housemates to wait while Big Brother edits their short film. They are also beginning to miss the lively presence of Ethel and Mcoy. But how will they react if tomorrow night when Mariel finally bids farewell?
Many times now Big Brother had reminded his residents regarding pay back time for their respective violations. But he was determined to keep everyone in suspense as he reveals their punishment one by one. As mentioned before, Baron started to carry a bench last night that will hopefully teach him not to oversleep again. He even requested for a wider one to keep from falling off it when he's deep in slumber.
Tonight, the next on the list were Mcoy and Victor. As it is, they forgot to use a stirrer when they fixed their drinks last Sunday. You will recall that the Lonely Dreamboy even hid his glass under the table to muffle the sound. But of course, he didn't escape Big Brother's eye for justice. As such, they have to wear matching attires which mirrored the striped design of a stirrer. And whenever "IyugyogMo" is played, they are forced to shake their booties together with the music!
Then another violator was punished after some time. It was like seeing G.I. Jane in the flesh when Riza suddenly came out of the storage room wearing a sexy military outfit! And her responsibility is to make sure that Baron's bangko is latched on his back at all times. She even had a rifle to go with her costume! The others tried to pry out of her the reason of her ordeal but she remained mum about it, thinking perhaps that she can't afford another penalty at the moment.
The HOH game was held last Sunday night where the housemates fought for the title in what was dubbed as "Kapit Na". They simply have to hold on to their individual punching bags and the last to lose his grip would win. After fifteen minutes, Will was finally hailed as the HOH. It was the Desirable Diva whom he chose as his partner for the special privileges that he would get this week.
As soon as she heard about it, Ethel immediately showed her hilarious dismay for not being picked by Will. The latter tried to console her but the Ultimate Pasaway merely threatened to pack her things again and leave the house! To Big Brother, she revealed that she really thought that Will would choose her since it was she who cheered him on during the game.
She was in for a big surprise though when Big Brother added fuel to her playful jealousy by asking her to interrupt the hottest PBB couple on their dinner date for two! Seeing the romantic set-up sent her into a pretend-rage as she cried accusingly to the gorgeous model, "Bakit hindi ako ang pinili mo?" But the two merely laughed at her funny antics.
Ethel then shared the whole thing to the other housemates who are already used to her teasing quips towards the True Lover. Her act went on until the Will and Riza joined them again. To stop her complaints, Will pomised to give her a massage or whatever it is that she wants. And the Desirable Diva was sport enough to know that Ethel was just fooling around.
That same night however, Big Brother announced that it's pay back time for the recent violators. However, the corresponding punishment will be given on different instances. Baron already started to carry his bench last night.
Pleasant surprise for the Racing Godess by Mariel, Donni, Ruben, Riza and Will

Big Brother decided to connive with Mariel, Donni, Ruben, Riza and Will. Whether they were asked to make a sacrifice or a pleasant surprise for the Racing Godess remains to be seen. But for now, what's made privy to all of us is the special task which they started to accomplish right after they played tug-o-war.
With a touch of irony, they were told to take a bath first before proceeding to the storage room where their costumes lay in waiting for them. There the five selected celebrities covered their bodies with paint, following a unified checkered flag design,
which we mostly see in circuits. To complete their outfit, they wore a strapped-tire on their waists. Then they came out of hiding by skating around the house with their brand new roller blades!
Naturally, Gab immediately realized that the task is related to her. She asked if it was a punishment but Mariel said no. Other than that, the five of them were tight-lipped regarding their "secret mission" which is extended till later. In fact, they were instructed to sleep on the living room for tonight with their costumes on!
On All Souls Day, Big Brother found a way for some of his residents to ease the pain of losing the chance to be with their loved ones when they passed away from this world. Through the fax machine, he sent blank obituaries for Baron, Donni, Victor and Riza to as part of the symbolic ritual of letting go that they were about to do.
At the same time, they were given some time to do artworks in remembrance of the deceased's legacy to them, which they later presented to the housemates. First off was Rizza who lost her nineteen-year-old nephew just before she entered the prestigious yellow house. Behind all her poise is a grieving heart for failing to attend his wake in Canada. Together with Toni, she made her goodbye ritual at the rooftop of ELJTower where she freed two balloons as a symbol of coming to terms with his violent death.
Another girl will rule the house this week! Riza booted out all the the other housemates in a competition to determine who will be this week's Head of Household. As we can all recall last week, Ethel was able to enjoy numerous priviliges, specifically the exclusive use of the shower room, and an instant immunity from the nomination. However, as HOH, Ethel also shouldered the responsibility of casting an automatic nomination on a particular housemate, a right which Ethel exercised against Megan.
Now, it's time for Riza to take on the much coveted title.
Big Brother ushered in the H.O.H Grand Prix wherein our celebrity housemates competed in a race aboard a a small go-cart. Toni, being the latest addition to the house, served as the flag girl in the start and finish line. Riza outspeed her fellow girls Yayo, Mariel, and previous H.O.H Ethel in the first qualifying round. Afterwards, the boys took their turn in the second race wherein Will won over Jon and Victor. Then on the last qualifier, Ruben finished last over Mcoy and the Racing Goddess herself, Gaby. The three qualifiers then faced each other in a three-lapsed final race. At first, Riza felt threatened as she had to beat two guys. But with her tactics and determination, the Desirable Diva managed to reach the finish line, with Ruben way behind her, and Will unable to pedal on his small go-cart. All the housemates cheered on Riza as she savored her sweet victory.
